MIRKA® 6" EPOXY Starter Kit

This 6" kit contains an assortment of abrasives, polishing pads and compound needed for an efficient sanding process before polishing of epoxy resin. Abranet features a polyamide fabric net structure that ensures a sanding particle is never more than 0.5 mm from a dust extraction hole. Begin the sanding process with grits 80 to 600. Developed to efficiently tackle the latest demanding coatings applications, Polarstar quickly produces a fine, consistent surface finish. It also has superb durability due to an excellent resistance to clogging. Fine sanding continues with Polarstar 1200 and 1500 grits. Abralon is a unique, multifunctional sanding material developed for tackling both smooth and profiled surfaces. Its patented, flexible construction allows it to create a smooth sanding pattern on angled surfaces and edges while minimizing the risk of pressure marks. The flexible weave also allows water and air to pass freely, making it suitable for both dry and wet sanding, by machine or by hand. Make sure to disconnect the dust extractor and finish the sanding process with Abralon (humid) disc 2000 grit. For the Polishing part, use Polarshine 10 with lambs wool pad and then finish with the foam pad.
